Amos Pewter is one of the most highly visited craft shops in Nova Scotia and is synonymous with excellence in design and craftsmanship. The designs for our pewter gifts and keepsakes are inspired by nature and our beautiful seaside surroundings. In April 1974, the Amos Pewter store and workshop was opened in Mahone Bay in a circa 1888 former boat building shop. Along with Mahone Bay, we also have locations in Halifax and Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia and Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. When you visit our workshops, enjoy a casting demonstration where our Artisans will show you how we cast molten pewter.

HANDS ON EXPERIENCE

Roll up your sleeves and take part in the craftsmanship at Amos Pewter with our Hands-On experience. Hands-on tours are available to the public three times daily at all of our locations (not available at the Halifax Cruise Pavilion). Each of our locations has its own unique design - visit all four to complete your collection which includes a lighthouse, cod fish, anchor, and schooner! Book your tour here.
