HOW TO CARE FOR PEWTER
Wash regularly in warm water with a soft cloth containing dishwashing liquid and baking soda. Rinse with hot water, dry immediately. For textured surfaces, a soft toothbrush may be used.
Tableware
Our tableware designs are food safe, however should not be used for storage of food or acidic products.
Wash your pewter with hot soapy water within two or three hours of use. Rinse and dry while still warm.
To clean a cheese board, simply wipe the surface with a soapy dishcloth, rinse and dry thoroughly. Do not soak or submerge the board in water. Occasionally rub with food safe mineral oil to keep wood from drying out. It is natural for wood to show the cutting marks of knives and utensils. The smooth surface finish will become more textured with each wash develop a unique patina. Avoid harsh abrasives and dishwashers.
Candle Holders & Snuffers
To remove wax drippings, pour boiling water over the wax, dry immediately. Be mindful that the pewter will retain the heat of the boiling water and be hot to the touch! *Never leave candles unattended. Always place candle in suitable holders and place on a flat surface. Pewter melts at very low temperatures.

HOW DO I UPDATE MY ACCOUNT INFORMATION?
Simply click My Account at the top of the page to access the My Account page. From here you can update your personal information, add or edit addresses, review previous orders and track your parcel.

PACKAGING
When selecting a product to add to your shopping bag, where applicable you will be given the option to have your purchase sent without a box, boxed and/or gift-wrapped. As part of our effort to be environmentally aware, we ship purchases in boxes only on request. All other purchases will be packaged with equal care to ensure that you receive them in the same condition as when they left our artisans’ hands.
GIFT WRAP
Gift wrap is available on most Amos Pewter purchases. Gifts are wrapped in silver paper and finished with a ribbon.
NOTE CARD
If you choose to have your item gift wrapped, you will be given the option to include a handwritten note card. We would be happy to enclose the note card with your personal message when sending a gift to an address other than yours. Please note, the message on the note card will appear exactly as you have written it and we are unable to include emojis.
ORNAMENTS WITH SILVER GIFT RIBBON
Each ornament comes trimmed with a burgundy ribbon and story card. It is packaged in a burgundy gift envelope. Silver ribbon can be added to the outside, ready for gift giving.
HAND INSCRIPTION
For a personal touch, we can hand inscribe many of our pewter designs. The hand inscription will appear on either the back or the bottom depending on the piece being inscribed. For our Teddy Bear & Rocking Horse Ornaments, the inscription will appear on the front of the piece. This service is free of charge. Please refer to individual product information for inscription availability. Please ensure the information you submit is correct as that is what will appear on the piece inscribed. Items that are inscribed are unable to be returned.
MACHINE ENGRAVING
Many of our products can be machine engraved. Please note, products that are personalized will require an additional fee and extra time for the order to fulfilled. Prices are stated in Canadian dollars. Prices are subject to change without notice. When ordering from outside of Canada, your credit card will be charged in your currency at the current exchange rate once the order is processed.

HOW IS SALES TAX CALCULATED?
Sales tax is automatically calculated during the checkout process in accordance with the tax laws applicable to the province/state/and or/country of the Shipping address.
Orders shipped to NS, NB, PEI & NL - Add 15% HST
Orders shipped to Ontario - Add 13% HST
Orders shipped to all other Canadian provinces: - Add 5% GST

We ship worldwide.
CAN I SHIP TO AN ADDRESS OTHER THAN MINE?
Yes, if you are purchasing gifts, we would be happy to send them to your friends and family. All billing information will be forwarded directly to you. You may also send parcels to an alternate address for yourself. If your order contains items that require shipping to multiple locations, you will need to place separate orders for each address. If you are a registered user, your addresses can be saved in your address book for easier checkout.
WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?
Most orders are shipped within 1 - 3 business days from the time your order is received. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information (if applicable) once your order has been shipped. Very large orders may require additional time. Please note, there may be delivery delays due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control such as severe weather, postal system delays etc. For Holiday orders, we suggest ordering early to ensure your parcel arrives by the date required.
