“Hummingbirds are one of nature’s more exquisite wonders.” The complete Artist's Statement appears on the accompanying card.

Purchase any 7 ornaments and get the 8th free!

"Hummingbirds are one of nature's more exquisite wonders. Of 320 species, only the ruby-throated hummingbird makes it to the Maritimes during breeding season. Coming from Mexico and the Gulf States, it must be a long haul in hummingbird miles! Flitting from flower to flower and feeding every 10 to 15 minutes, they consume their weight in nectar each day. While hovering to feed, their wings beat up to 80 times per second and amazingly they are also able to fly backward. I hope you have had the opportunity to enjoy these delicate little creatures as they buzz around your garden looking for their next sip of nectar."

Trimmed with a burgundy ribbon, each ornament is ready for hanging on the Christmas tree or in a window. We can add a brief hand inscription to create a wonderful keepsake. It comes packaged in a burgundy gift envelope that is convenient for gift giving or mailing. Begin a collecting tradition that will be treasured for generations. 3"H

Spent the better part of an hour here. We did the little tour/info session and stayed to do the sand dollar kits. A reminder of the lovely Mahone Bay. A very pretty shop with super nice staff

I discovered Amos Pewter through a friend who lives in Nova Scotia. And this summer I was able to visit the Halifax Harbour & Peggy’s Cove location. Staff were so kind and welcoming at both location. Your products are beautiful and have help commemorate our family vacation!
